And it’s a wrap for The Rookie Bartender Season 2!
The final two rookies competed for $1,000 cash prize and to shed the title of “Rookie”
After the many poured cocktails, shots, martinis, and draft beers, it’s a wrap for The Rookie Bartender Season 2! The competition between four bartending students at The Poppin’ Bottles Bartending Academy started months back and left Cassidy and Chris as the two competitors for the final challenge this past Wednesday.
In front of a series of industry professionals, the two showed off their bartending skills and made some mean cocktails for their judges. It was a close competition but the talented Chris Fox showed the judges a few more bartending tricks and skills than social media and You Tube sensation Cassidy and took home the cash prize of $1,000.
The rookies couldn’t have done it without their celebrity trainers at The Poppin’ Bottles Bartending Academy. MTV’s Cara Maria Sorbello, Bad Girl Alum Kate Squillace, Boston promoter Dave Branca and infamous Boston bartender and party-master Dre Haynes helped the rookies throughout the season bring mojo to their mixology.
The rookies are now flairing bottles and serving drinks at some of the hottest spots in Boston. You can find Chris at The Greatest Bar, Cassidy was offered a job at The Place, and Natalie is behind the bar at McGreevy’s.
